Pilley Street House

A modest 60’s brick house extended and transformed over a period of 9 years into a functional home for a family of 4, on a tiny and compromised inner city triangular block. Living spaces, work spaces, courtyard and pool, in an ensemble that exploits the site to its limits. The unused triangular backyard is given an extraordinary makeover; extending internal spaces visually and creating a secondary living space outdoors inclusive of pool, spa, cleverly concealed BBQ and decking area.  A 6m vertical garden wall and dedicated drying courtyard concealed behind a new front fence complete the home.
