Architect George Yiontis and his life and business partner architect Rosa Coy first met while working in Paris over 20 years ago. George, a graduate of RMIT University, worked with Brunet Sounier, while Rosa who studied at Deakin before doing post-graduate studies in America, worked in Paris with Renzo Piano. After 20 years after establishing their Melbourne practice, the duo has established a reputation for high-end residential work, along with a number of commercial projects.

Difficult Houses

Stephen Crafti’s article on ‘How architects design homes in difficult spaces’ in DOMAIN today featuring our St Vincent’s Place project. 2 years and ultimately a high court decision to obtain approval – this one definitely wasn’t easy.

Houses Awards 2016

We are  excited to announce that our Humble House has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2016 Australian Houses Awards in the New houses over 200m2 category.

It was a busy weekend with House 3 welcoming a busload of curious architourists on Sunday.

L4 House Design

We received our beautiful copy of coffee table book L4 House Design today. Thank you to A&C publishing Co.  for a magnificent 8 page spread of House 3.

We are honoured to feature alongside so many beautiful homes from all over the world. The book is broken into four categories:
– Apartment House &Loft
– Compact House
– Mid-Sized House
– Large -Sized House

There are 41 beautiful projects in this book. House 3 falls into category ‘Mid-Sized House’ and features on pp 166-173.

Sacred Spaces

Rosa with presenter Micaela Drieberg during the filming of ‘Sacred Spaces- Women in Architecture’ for Channel 31 in House 3. Sacred Spaces is screening on Tuesday nights at 6.30pm; House 3 will be featured on August 11th.

Robin Boyd Foundation Open House

House 3 will be open to the public as part of the Robin Boyd Foundation’s Open House Program on August 23rd.
